Music - UMF Concert Band

The UMF Concert Band, conducted by Anita Jerosch and comprised of community members and UMF students perform a wide variety of standard concert band repertoire to jazz and contemporary music. In their eclectic programs, smaller subgroups such as the Trombone Choir and Jazz Ensemble may be featured. On their spring 2008 concert, the band performed a rag time piece featuring a tuba solo, selections from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera and some popular marches. The UMF Concert Band rehearses on Thursday evenings. Students can play in the band for credit or non-credit.
